Another Successful Yoga for Bhopal Event Raises £600

The flyer for Laura’s Yoga for Bhopal event

We wish to thank Laura Potts, who held a yoga evening at ‘Yoga for all York’ on the 11th of January to raise money for the clinics in Bhopal. The event featured a restorative relaxing lyengar yoga session, followed by a screening of ‘Where do the Children Play’, a film documenting the survivors incredible march for justice across India in 2008. The event was rounded off with a delicious Indian meal provided by Steve of the Pig and Pastry café in York.

In addition to Laura for holding the event, we wish to thank Steve for providing the food and all 28 people who attended for their part in raising money for the Bhopal Medical Appeal and the Sambhavna and Chingari clinics.
