Chingari Rehabilitation Centre

The Chingari Rehabilitation Centre offers free treatment to children from gas and contaminated water affected families, including physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and special education.

Helping children born to parents exposed to the poison gas or to the contaminated water in Bhopal, the Chingari Rehabilitation Centre is the only place in Bhopal where all of these children can get the free treatment they deserve.

Founded in 2006, the Chingari clinic provides free, regular healthcare to more than 200 children from gas and contaminated water affected families in Bhopal. Chingari also provides special education to help these children develop the skills they'll need in later life, and supports families by providing free daily meals, as well as a pick-up and drop-off service in the centre's vans.
