In celebration of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar’s centenary year Bath Iyengar Yoga Centre has been hosting a series of ten themed yoga classes during 2018. The classes have all been taught by fully qualified and experienced Iyengar Yoga Teachers and included everything from basic introductory classes up to a class designed for Iyengar practitioners focusing on Yoga practice during menstruation.

The last class, on November 16th, will be on Yoga for sleep problems and will be taken by Richard Agar Ward. All ten of the classes have been in honour of our appeal and we’re extremely grateful for the hard work and commitment from all at the Bath Iyengar Yoga Centre: CLICK

The Scaravelli workshop at Isle of Yoga, on the Isle of Wight, originally scheduled for November 24th has been postponed and will now take place next March.

Why not hold your own Yoga for Bhopal Event?
We’re hoping to inspire yoga practitioners and studios to hold Yoga for Bhopal events on or around this year’s anniversary of the Bhopal Disaster which falls on December 2nd/ 3rd. If you would like to get involved or host your own event, at the anniversary or at any other time, please email: [email protected]

At the Sambhavna Clinic, supported by the Bhopal Medical Appeal, yoga has been found to be particularly beneficial for people suffering from chronic diseases involving the respiratory, musculo-skeletal, neurological and endocrine systems. You can read more about it here: CLICK
