The Chingari Trust Candle Light Vigil Marks the 35th Anniversary

On the 30th November children registered with the Chingari Trust conducted a candle light vigil to pay their respects to those who have lost their lives due to the Bhopal Gas Tragedy.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Zaid registered with Chingari Trust suffering from mucopolysaccharidoses said “The Whole world needs to learn a lesson from this tragedy and what had happened in Bhopal should not be repeated elsewhere in the world.”

Bhopal Medical Appeal Supports the Chingari Trust who operates a clinic committed to helping children in Bhopal born with various psychological and physical disabilities.

One hundred and seventy children come everyday, to Chingari Rehabilitation Centre, to receive physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, special education, supplementary nutrition provisions and transportation facilities – all free of charge.
