Preparing for Glastonbury: a spoken word from Alan

Alan Williams, a metal sculptor based in Brighton, explains how he made the six-foot metal armature for our skull and an eight-foot mother-and-child figure for our Bhopali Sculpture Garden at the forthcoming Glastonbury Festival. We started covering the skull today in cream and white plastic bag and fabric scraps. It’s going to look pretty amazing come rain or shine!

Alan is part of the Anvil Ironworks collective.
