Friend of BMA Ed Hanley was previously best known to us as the tabla player of Canadian world music ensemble Autorickshaw who generously donated the proceeds of their song ‘City of Lakes’ to our appeal. You can watch the song performed live here

In 2014, at the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal Disaster Ed performed, in an Autorickshaw trio, to a captivated audience of disaster survivors and their families, at Iqbal Maidain, in old Bhopal.

Ed is also an accomplished photographer and has been traveling around India over the last couple of months. Naturally, he spent time in Bhopal and, while there, produced a stunning photo essay describing some of the community healthcare work undertaken by the Sambhavna clinic.
