On Wednesday 15th August 2012 the children at Chingari Trust took part in India’s annual Independence Day celebrations.

It was for the first time that all the children had worn their new uniforms which were distributed to them by Chingari staff earlier this week. The managing trustees Rashida Bee and Champa Devi Shukla facilitated the flag hosting ceremony which was followed by a small dance programme for the children to participate in.

The children participated with much enthusiasm and their parents were very happy as such events help them in streamlining towards living a normal life.
