Dow’s Deadly ‘Enlist’ Duo

Enlist : part Glyphosate, a probable carcinogen, and part 2,4-D a possible carcinogen. Dow Chemical’s new product!

The WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer has just declared IARC2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, known as 2,4-D, to be a ‘possible’ carcinogen. Glyphosate had already been declared a ‘probable’ carcinogen

But, among the research presented to IARC was an analysis funded by a Dow-backed task force that found “no ties between 2,4-D and many cancers.”

2,4-D is more commonly known as one of the two major active ingredients of Agent Orange.
