The Human Rights Education Team at the International Secretariat of AI-UK prepared teaching materials for our 25th anniversary European Bhopal Speakers’ Bus Tour. The resource supports teachers to encourage and enable young people to engage critically with the issues surrounding the Bhopal tragedy. It contains teacher’s notes on Bhopal and an outline and resources for a one-hour human rights education session. The session can be carried out in the classroom or with youth groups, and should ideally lead to young people taking some creative action on Bhopal. The session is designed to be used with young people aged 11-18, however it can be tailored to suit all participants.
