Vote Dow Chemical in the Corporate Hall of Shame

Dow Clean Up Bhopal

Here’s your chance to help Dow win a richly deserved award so please take a moment to vote for Dow in the 2015 ‘Corporate Hall of Shame’.

“Dow has been nominated “For heavily lobbying for its toxic products, including an herbicide used in Agent Orange. And spending millions to defeat GMO labeling laws”

Whilst these reasons alone would seem to be enough to earn Dow a nomination we’d hope that potential voters won’t be forgetting Dow’s inability, or refusal, to address the legacy of the Bhopal Disaster. This includes Dow’s refusal to attend the courts in Bhopal and explain why it should not produce its 100% owned subsidiary, the Union Carbide Corporation, to face the outstanding criminal charges against it.

Dow has another opportunity to attend the court and explain itself on the 19th December but, in the meantime, perhaps a large number of votes might help shame Dow into doing the right thing. Please vote and please share this campaign as widely as you can.
