Peter and David Galsworthy Hiking The John Muir Trail

The John Muir Trail (JMT) is a big hike!  It’s 220 miles crosses California’s High Sierra from Yosemite to Mount Whitney. This is a land of 13,000- 14,000 foot peaks, of soaring granite cliffs, of lakes by the thousand, of canyons 5,000 feet deep. It is a land uncrossed by road for 140 miles. And then there are the bears!

Peter and David are hoping to complete the trail in about 20 days. They had planned to raise £1,000 but had already exceeded that target by the time they left England.

Way to go guys!
