Bhopal Medical Appeal Runners Tackle London 10K

Daisy Hooper & Sam Ransom Sporting Their Medals

It may not have been ideal to set out for a 10K run, on a blazing Sunday morning in the current heatwave, but our group of runners enjoyed their experience and made pretty decent times given the punishing conditions.

The London 10K is normally our most popular sponsored event and it’s not hard to see why. It’s a great fun day, with a route taking the runners around many of the most famous sights in Central London. With over 10,000 runners there’s a real buzz about the place and, for the participants, a little of the experience of the London Marathon- only with a LOT less training and effort!

Congratulations and thanks go to all our runners, who made these excellent times:

Glenis Scadding 01:27:47
Martin Hodges 01:14:14
Geoffrey Southwell 01:17:37
Daisy Hooper 01:15:30
Sam Ransom 00:56:29
Laura Deitz 00:58:09
Andrew Platten 01:05:26
