Rashida Bi, co-founder of the Chingari Trust, and joint winner of the 2004 Goldman Prize, was named as one of a hundred Indian women achievers.
The one hundred women were honoured by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, at Rahstrapati Bhavan, the presidential palace in New Delhi, on January 22nd.
The ‘#100Women Initiative’ was jointly launched by Union Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) in collaboration with Facebook.
