The Old Meeting House, Ditchling reverberated with glorious strains of music performed by the Tzigane Trio last Saturday evening (25th October). Gillian Findlay (violin). Jennie Brown (cello) and Elizabeth Marcus (piano) presented a stunning programme of pieces from Haydn, Suk, Bridge, Mozart and von Weber which thrilled the audience.
Rosemary Pavey, a local artist and author, had organised this fundraising event in support of the Bhopal Medical Appeal which has its head office in Brighton. Tickets, raffle and donations raised over £650 for the charity.
This represents a significant gift for Sambhavna Clinic and the children of Chingari for which we thank supporters of the event, our talented trio and, of course, Rosemary for organising the evening and making it such a success.
