Charity Auction raises thousands for Bhopal Medical Appeal

The Bhopal Medical Appeal would like to say a huge thank you to Fiona Case and her wonderful group of helpers and volunteers for raising over £5000 for the BMA at a charity auction!

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal gas disaster, Fiona Case, a long-time supporter of the Bhopal Medical Appeal  a Charity Auction  in Pilton.

Fiona, who works for Glastonbury Festival, has been integral over the years in securing BMA volunteer spaces at Glastonbury.

The event will held at the Old Pilton Working Men’s Club, included a huge list of items on auction, including the star pieces: 3 beautiful, one off Glastonbury Festival posters from 1983, 1989 and 1970, printed on aluminium and signed by festival founder Michael Eavis himself. Micheal, who is also a patron of the Bhopal Medical Appeal,  also attended the event and made a generous contribution to the event and charity.

Our thanks go to Fiona, who organised and out on such a wonderful and successful event.
