We are delighted to announce that the Assist Bhopal organisation will be holding their 6th annual fundraiser for the Chingari clinic on the evening of Saturday November 21st, a virtual Diwali Celebration! Hosts Current President Neil Dogra and incoming President Krish Vasudev invite you to join them for a fun-filled Virtual Hindi Musical Extravaganza featuring world-famous singer Mr. Amrish Mishra. The event will run from 9-11 PM CST (3-5am GMT of Sunday 22nd, 8.30-10.30 IST of Sunday November 22nd). We realise this timing primarily suits our supporters in the U.S., but if any of our supports in the UK fancy a late night celebration, or supporters in India would like to enjoy some music on a Sunday morning, please do sign up!

About Assist Bhopal and the Fundraiser
Ms. Megan Dogra founded the Assist Bhopal Non-Profit Organization in 2014 to help the victims of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. She passed on the reigns of this organization to Saloni Gupte, who then passed it on to Neil Dogra. The money collected by this organization helps provide free daily lunch to children who come to the Chingari clinic in Bhopal to receive physical and occupational rehabilitation services. Many of us have enjoyed the Dogra family’s hospitality over the years at their live annual Assist Bhopal fundraising events. Due to COVID, they will be hosting this year’s event virtually over Zoom. Let’s celebrate the spirit of our annual festival of lights, Diwali, and continue to build upon the friendships, memories, and camaraderie garnered at the previous Assist Bhopal events. Let’s make this year’s event an opportunity to enjoy world-class live Hindi music from the one and only Amrish Mishra and, at the same time, help these children in need.
