Your messages:

‘This vigil is to stand in solidarity with the victims of Union Carbide and with those individuals who against the odds will attain remarkable achievements during the Paralympics 2012. The hypocrisy of having DOW as a sponsor for this event has not gone unnoticed and will not be ignored. However, this is a vigil not to represent anger at DOW and Anderson or frustration with LOCOG and the IOC. This vigil is to pay homage to those who are fighting so hard for justice to be done in Bhopal and for those competing at the Paralympics and raising awareness of disability issues within our society’ (UK)

‘We stand with the people of Bhopal tonight. We only hope that DOW will one day face the consequences of their actions so that those who suffered, and are still suffering, will see compensation’ – Meg O’Connell, Australia

We believe Dow & DuPont must finally accept responsibility for Bhopal. Until then, The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two award-winning clinics in the city. Both offer free, first-class care to victims of the gas disaster or the ongoing water contamination. The survivors have nowhere else left to turn – please help if you can.
