CroopedBright Blue Yoga supports Yoga Therapy and Women’s Health in India

Georgina Bassford runs yoga classes in the Bath area for adults, pregnancy, postnatal mothers and babies, toddlers and preschoolers under the name of Bright Blue Yoga. Georgina is a qualified and experienced yoga teacher and offers hatha yoga classes designed ti improve physical and mental well being. She also has specialist training and experience in antenatal yoga and holds classes to help the pregnant woman prepare for  labour whilst keeping as healthy and relaxed as possible during the pregnancy.

Recently, Georgina has been introduced to the incredible work that the Sambhavna Clinic carries out using yoga and has been inspired to set up her own ongoing fundraising campaign for the Bhopal Medical Appeal. In Georgina’s own words:

“I’ve always wanted to support a charity through my yoga practice and business and have finally found one that really resonates with me. I hope it will with you too. I am only just starting out, in June 2014, on my fundraising journey for the Bhopal Medical Appeal, and hope that over the months and years you will support me in funding their amazing and important work in a variety of ways…”

Our heartfelt thanks go to Georgina for her commitment to our appeal and to the work of the Sambhavna Clinic.

You can visit the Bright Blue Yoga site here and, if you live in the Bath area, then why not consider taking some classes with Georgina.

We believe Dow must finally accept responsibility for Bhopal. Until then, The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two award-winning clinics in the city. Both offer free, first-class care to victims of the gas disaster or the ongoing water contamination. The survivors have nowhere else left to turn – please help if you can.
