BBC Radio 4 Anniversary Appeal: Jon Snow

Jon Snow with BMA’s Farah Edwards

We are excited to announce Jon Snow, long-time patron of the Bhopal Medical Appeal, will be reading a BBC Radio 4 Appeal to mark the 35th anniversary of the disaster on Sunday the 8th of December at 7.25am, and again at 9.25pm. It will go out for a third and final time on Thursday the 12th of December at 3.27pm, and will also be available to listen to online via the BBC Radio 4 website from the time of the initial broadcast on Sunday the 8th.

The appeal tells the moving tale of Suraj, one of the children receiving treatment at the Chingari Clinic. Please tune in to hear his incredible story.

We believe Dow must finally accept responsibility for Bhopal. Until then, The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two award-winning clinics in the city. Both offer free, first-class care to victims of the gas disaster or the ongoing water contamination. The survivors have nowhere else left to turn – please help if you can.
