Assist Bhopal

As a part of her high school studies, US student Megan Dogra visited Bhopal and spent time at the Chingari Trust Rehabilitation Centre. She was deeply moved by her experience and inspired to get involved, producing an excellent short film telling the effects of the disaster and the ongoing contamination in Bhopal, which was selected to screen at the Milwaukee Film Festival 2014.

Now, ‘Assist Bhopal’ is an Official Selection for the 2015 All American High School Film Festival in New York City. As an official selection. the film will be screened over the weekend of 9-11th October at the AMC Empire Theatre, Times Square, New York. Our congratulations go to Megan, along with all of her hard work raising awareness for Bhopal and fundraising for the Chingari Trust Rehabilitation Centre.

We believe Dow & DuPont must finally accept responsibility for Bhopal. Until then, The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two award-winning clinics in the city. Both offer free, first-class care to victims of the gas disaster or the ongoing water contamination. The survivors have nowhere else left to turn – please help if you can.
