Sambhavna Film Screening in Birmingham

As part of the West Midlands Human Rights Film Festival 2012, the Birmingham International Film Society (B.I.F.S.) presents the Birmingham premiere of the documentary ‘Sambhavna’.
Filmed by two medical students from the University of Liverpool, this self-shot documentary is about the ongoing Bhopal Chemical Disaster in India. Focusing on the Sambhavna Clinic, a primary healthcare centre providing free medical treatment to gas victims and is funded by Brighton based charity the Bhopal Medical Appeal. Many are unaware that in addition to the 1984 gas leak, ground water pollution continues to blight the lives of Bhopali citizens.
Director Joseph Malone will be discussing his film after the screening.
